Lauki , half kg

Tomato puree , 1 small bowl

Green chilies , 1 or 2

Roasted cumin seeds , 1 teaspoon

Red  chilli powder,  ¼ teaspoon

Salt,  as per raste

Cooking oil, 1 tablespoon

Turmeric , ½ teaspoon

Chopped coriander leaves


Step wise Method

  1. First chop the lauki and boil it.
  2. Now in a pan pour one tablespoon oil.
  3. Put boiled lauki.
  4. Stir it for five minutes.
  5. Now add all above ingredients. Cook it until a sense capturing aroma comes out.
  6. Turn off the flame now
  7. Take it out in a bowl
  8. Sprinkle some coriander leaves over it

Served with

  • Rice
  • Chapati
  • Bread
